Privacy Policy
Respecting your privacy and protecting your personal data are an absolute priority for PeacoPix. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you about how your data is processed (or not processed) when you use the website https://peacopix.com.
1. Image processing and the “Privacy by Design” principle
PeacoPix was built according to the Privacy by Design principle. As a tool dedicated to e-commerce professionals, we guarantee absolute respect for your trade secrets:
- No data transferred: Your images (products, prototypes) and their associated metadata are never transmitted to a server, stored in a database, or transferred to third parties.
- 100% local AI processing (Client-Side): All operations (Artificial Intelligence background removal, conversion, marketplace formatting, and optimization) are performed exclusively by your device’s web browser using WebAssembly technology.
- No persistent storage: Processed files are temporarily kept in your browser’s RAM. As soon as you refresh the page or close your tab/browser, all files are immediately and permanently erased from the application.
2. Personal data collected
Because it operates without user account creation, PeacoPix does not directly collect any personally identifiable data (no first name, last name, email address, or phone number).
However, while you are browsing the site, technical data may be processed by our third-party service providers or through the use of cookies.
3. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when visiting a website. Local storage is a storage space integrated directly into your web browser, allowing a website or web app to save data as key/value pairs. PeacoPix uses the following technologies:
A. Technically necessary local storage (Local Storage)
PeacoPix uses your web browser’s Local Storage exclusively to store your user preferences (for example, remembering the site’s display language or your optimization “presets”).
- This data remains stored locally on your device.
- It is not transmitted to any external server.
- As this storage is strictly necessary for the provision of the requested service, it does not require your prior consent in accordance with CNIL (French Data Protection Authority) recommendations.
B. Advertising cookies (Third-party networks)
To keep the service free and sustainable, PeacoPix may display advertisements provided by third-party ad networks (such as Google AdSense or other partner networks).
These partners may place cookies to:
- Tailor advertising to your interests (personalized advertising).
- Measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
- Prevent fraud and count ad impressions.
C. Audience measurement cookies
Statistical analysis tools may be used to measure site traffic (number of visitors, page views) and improve the user experience.
4. Consent management
In accordance with applicable regulations (GDPR and CNIL guidelines), a consent management banner (CMP - Consent Management Platform) is displayed during your first visit to PeacoPix.
At any time, you can:
- Accept or refuse the placement of non-essential cookies.
- Customize your choices purpose by purpose.
- Modify or withdraw your consent via the “Cookie Management” link at the bottom of the website.
If you refuse advertising cookies, ads will continue to be displayed, but they will not be personalized based on your interests.
5. Legal basis for processing
The processing of your data is based on the following legal grounds:
- Legitimate interest: To ensure the technical operation of the site, its security, and anonymized audience measurement.
- Consent: For the placement of personalized advertising cookies and behavioral tracking for analytical purposes.
6. Subcontractors and data recipients
The site is hosted using the Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure (CloudFront, S3). Content delivery and HTTPS request management servers collect technical access logs (IP addresses, browser type) strictly necessary for network security and proper routing.
In the event of advertising display or analytics, your browsing data may be shared with authorized partners (e.g., Google LLC) subject to your consent.
7. Your rights regarding your data (GDPR)
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés), you have the following rights:
- Right to access and rectify your data.
- Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”).
- Right to restriction of and objection to processing.
- Right to withdraw your consent at any time.
Note regarding your images: Since the site does not store any of your images on its servers, it is technically impossible for us to access, modify, or delete your files (or exercise a right to portability over them), as they only exist locally on your device.
To exercise your rights regarding cookies or technical data, you can contact us directly by email at: garywillcodeit@gmail.com
If you believe that your rights are not being respected, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés) or your local data protection authority.
8. Changes to the privacy policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, in particular to comply with legal, regulatory, or technical developments. The date of the last update will be adjusted at the top of this document.
